It is an easy-to-use lab with fruit mixes and syrups from Puglia, in addition to a base with 15 essences.

The presentation

The presentation of Prohibito – The new way of mixing showed in Florence during the sixth edition of Florence Cocktail Week.

in a word, Prohibito is the new brand of Bevande Futuriste, a new exclusive mixability.

Important to realize, it comes from two years of work and close collaboration with the best Italian bartenders, which includes:

  • Seven fruit mixes
  • Two sugary syrups
  • Three premium syrups Made in Puglia, in the south of Italy
  • A mother base with 15 essences
  • A butter syrup
  • The Tiki Batter

It is the team of products that Samuele Ambrosi, from Cloakroom Cocktail Lab in Treviso, presented at the Ditta Artigianale bar drink show.

Our people

Gianni Zottola, a Tiki Tropical mixing expert, made the exhibition under Prohibito brand ambassador, Gianluca Fraccascia.

Prohibito refers to 30’s American prohibition, representing today the common language of drinks, but with an eye to the future.

For all the movie lovers, we remember the magnificent Capone, a movie with Tom Hardy about the great alcohol trafficker Al Capone.

With this in mind, it has even 90% pure natural fruit for mixed products, natural ingredients, and no colorants.

As a result, these elements provide the ideal base for countless cocktails bar, frozen drinks, slushies, and smoothies.

Then, the flavors range from blueberry to peach, strawberry to pomegranate, passion fruit to coconut, and raspberry.

With two natural sugary syrups, it is ideal for giving a touch of healthy sweetness to drinks and cocktails.

Indeed, one has organic agave, with a low glycemic index, and the other has invert sugar.

Prohibito represents the fascination of experimenting, innovating, and customizing with a few simple gestures within everyone’s reach.

Thanks to the enzyme invertase, it also has a higher sweetening power than simple sugar.

Finally, syrups contain ingredients of great finesse, expression of the best Italian regional excellencies.

Unique and natural ingredients

Initially, we start with three exclusives Made in Puglia premium flavors, ideal for revisiting classics and garnishes for catering.

The red onion syrup comes from Acquaviva, a Slow Food presidium, which cultivates respecting the ancient tradition of the fonts.

The almond syrup is from Toritto, another presidium of the Murgia, an area where various native cultivars of the best quality are grown.

Finally, there is Primitivo wine syrup IGT Puglia, a certified cocktails beverage whose origins go back centuries.

Altogether, we can say it is the primitive wine that best expresses the personality of the region.

In addition, there is a 500 ml base with natural ingredients, creamy neutral taste compound for mixing essences in cocktails.

As shown above, it is possible to create countless combinations of tastes with a unique base, mixing essences as one likes.

Another key point, mother base that goes with fifteen 50 ml essences with dropper cap and sprays nebulizer.

The selection consists of very high concentration, antioxidant-free with attention to 100% natural botanicals.

Its flavors include vanilla, rhubarb, ginger, elderflower, violet, cinnamon, bergamot, mandarin, star anise, quinotto, cardamom, juniper, rosemary, lime, and clove.

The essences of the Prohibito line are authentic natural Eau de perfume to flavor drinks and perfume the atmosphere.

The Tiki Batter is a great innovation, a butter syrup increasing a cocktail’s taste complexity and succulence.

Ideal for high mixing, the Tiki Batter is a new experiential frontier to all intents and purposes.

This idea’s precursors are the gurus of the Tiki world, who used butter in their aphrodisiac preparations.

Our purpose and ultimate goal

Prohibito is a concept, a futurist mission, with ancient values revisited in a modern key.

Futurist drinks

Bevande Futuriste was born in 2014 in Treviso, after two years of researching about modern and futuristic women out-of-home consumption.

The three founding partners are Alessandro Angelon, Elena Ceschelli and Alberto Zamuner.

United by friendship and love for beauty in everything, they have a strong experience in food and beverage.

Prohibito joins the other six product lines:

  • DiFrutta Bio, the beautiful, good and also organic fruit juice
  • T.V.Bio Smoothie, pure organic fruit juices
  • the Cortese line, premium sodas for the professional bartender
