A professor discovers, by chance while watching a movie, a man absolutely identical to him.

He begins to find out his name and where he lives, trying to contact him to meet.

An ambiguous relationship will begin to develop between them, trying to shift their lives and women.

Great story of characters built halfway between the twist of fate and conspiracy intrigue.

Amazing Jake Gyllenhaal in the double role, able to create two extremely different personalities with only a few facial variations.

Mélanie Laurent and Sarah Gadon are also two essential pieces of history in women’s role, both deceived by the identity men’s swap.

Finally, a small but excellent cameo by Isabella Rossellini in the role of the mother.

Denis Villeneuve directed a movie with a different way of narrating a thriller/mystery by adding a little appreciated horror/sci-fi touch.
