3 Movies about Directors

We have always loved their movies, but what do we know about them?

3 selected movies to take a closer look at 3 very famous directors.

1 Hitchcock (2012)
He wanted to make that movie at all costs, but no one was on his side except his wife and his trusted agent.

The history of the production of Psycho by the fabulous Alfred Hitchcock.

His difficulties with the production considered it a minor horror when in the end, it would be the highest-grossing ever in the brilliant British director’s entire career.

Great direction by Sacha Gervasi gives the right space to the interpretation of a gigantic Anthony Hopkins flanked by a wonderful Helen Mirren.

Small part also for a splendid Scarlett Johansson who gives the face for the great actress Janet Leigh.

2 Me and Orson Welles (2008)
He has the opportunity to work for the great genius.

But soon discovers that talent goes hand in hand with cruelty.

The story of a theatrical production directed by the great Orson Welles. Perfect Zac Efron in the role of the naive actor and Christian McKay in the imperious and naughty Welles role.

Another excellent movie directed by Richard Linklater, already the director of great hits such as School of Rock and the Before Sunrise saga.

3 Ed Wood (1994)
He wants to direct a film even though he is not capable, don’t have the money, and don’t have good actors.

But when the love for art exceeds our abilities, you can do anything.

That is the story of the great Edward D. Wood Jr., more simply known as Ed Wood.

Directed by Tim Burton, an act of love towards the worst director in the world played hilariously by Johnny Depp.

A movie to watch for anyone who wants to make a movie.
